GWG Members Encourage Area Students' Creativity

The Greensboro Writers' Guild knows that creativity is essential for students to develop and have a higher receptiveness to learning. With this in mind, several GWG members elected to give a presentation on writing and getting literary works into print. On Tuesday morning, May 12, representatives of the GWG gave a presentation at the Lake Oconee Academy on Carey Station Road, Greensboro. Four members spoke to an audience of approximately 115 students including rising 8th, 9th and 10th graders.  Topics relative to writers and various aspects of the writing process were discussed.  Below are the names and photos of participating members and the topic each chose.
