Greensboro Writers Guild Celebrates Christmas

Greensboro Writers’ Guild Dec 2015

GWG members spent the Dec 1 meeting time discussing end-of-the-year plans for GWG and sharing personal goals for some of our writers.

Our Annual Holiday Party was held on Tuesday, December 15th, beginning at noon, at the church activity building, our usual meeting place. Members and spouses were invited to this festive get-together. Each member brought a delicious dish to share. Beverages were provided by the Guild. This was our last “meeting” until January 5th, 2016.

The members who attended were treated to a superb holiday meal to help ring in the Christmas season.
The GWG members who were able to attend the 2015 Christmas gathering were treated to some delicious food

Bob Scully previously informed the group he is currently working on a novel about Kenya.

Bill Boughner has hopes of publishing a book of collected articles he has written for local newspapers. The columns span many years of creative writing. In addition, he would like to add artwork to his literary pieces.

The food and dessert dishes were, as usual, delicious and very filling. Below are some examples of the fare provided by members.
