Step Back Gets Visit from GWG Members
Saturday, Dec 13 was a beautiful day in Georgia and some of our GWG writer's group used the opportunity to visit the 1890's replica of a rural Georgia community. Among the GWG and GAA folks who visited Step Back were "Boots" Coffed & her husband Dale, Pete Muzyka, Lisa Wheeler with GAA president Mev Rozsman, Kathy & Leyroy Wright, and Bill & Miranda Boghner.
Seeing the way owner Roger Pierce's Step Back recreation: "CREATED IN PUTNAM COUNTY, GEORGIAN MEMORY OF ALL THE COMMUNITIES PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE BUILT IN OUR GREAT AMERICAN NATION!", was a real eye opener to the way rural folks lived, worked, and worshipped over 120 years ago. This trip down memory lane will provide some interesting writings by some of the GWG folks before too long.
